Math Curriculum Expert Job Brief: They are looking for Instructional Designers and Curriculum Developers based out of Mexico and Brazil and/or with knowledge of Math curriculum en these countries on a Consultant basis to design and develop curriculum, learning and assessment experiences for grade 1 to 8 students. Responsibilities: • To create detailed, engaging curriculum and quality resources, collaborate with math experts, outline objectives, and provide feasible time frames for the execution of the same. • To interpret the existing curriculum standards and to translate and review lesson plans • To collaborate with educators, subject experts, policymakers, and other professionals to develop quality curricula and learning resources for Math. Required Experience: • Must have a degree in Math • Degree in Education/Instructional Design is preferred. • Experience with on international curriculum is preferred. • Curriculum design experience in Math with a publisher, school, or an educational unit is preferred. • Any teaching or training experience is preferred. Required Skills: • A passion for education. • Fluency in English. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Great networking and interpersonal skills. • Strong planning skills, vision and creative intelligence. • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models. • Familiarity with the public school curriculum for Math in your country and an ability to compare and constrast it with Math curricula in any other country.
